My God Rocks
Print ViewI went for my chemo on Friday --my numbers were all pretty good--my CA-125 dropped down again to 8.9! It was originally up to 1157--normal is 35 or below. I praise God for that!
I stopped by Walmart for my nausea prescription and some reading glasses. Since chemo started, my eyesight has really gone downhill, but I'm hoping it'll get better once this chemo is over. Anyhow, I got home, and the glasses were not in the bag. So I had to go back. I asked if I could get a coupon for a discount when I shop again or something since I had to go all the way back again. She asked the manager, and I got the glasses for free! Thank You, Lord!
Then when we got home, and our neighbor brought us a meal. God bless her! She knew I had chemo and has been bringing us meals so Lennie doesn't starve when I don't feel good. She's a young divorced lady and so nice. Lennie helped her fix her riding mower when it wouldn't start the other day. To be a testimony for Christ is what we're here for. To live Christ everyday.
Lennie also got the chance to encourage a lady next to me who was having chemo and her friend who brought her with the Word. Her friend decided to start taking her to chemo to give her husband a break so he wouldn't have to take off work. That's a great blessing! People don't realize what our spouses have to do for us through this trial. So we told her what a special thing she was doing and how it lifts the burden off our caregivers. God bless her!
So we both had blessings that day. What a special God we have. Look how He blessed us just in one day! My God rocks!
